In accordance with Watu’s vision, principles, and values, your duties as an Asset Finance Officer will include overseeing all Asset Finance on-boarding as well as product sales at the designated site or locations.

It is expected of a successful Asset Finance Officer to adjust to the fast-paced culture of the business, the industry, and the clients they represent.

Our clients are business owners. As a business, we are dedicated to helping them reach their financial objectives. The Asset Finance Officer must have a strong sense of community involvement and a shared commitment to the company’s and our customers’ objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Bringing in new clients for our asset finance solutions, keeping up service standards for our current clientele, and growing our clientele.
  • Serving as the point of contact for all incoming questions from prospective and current customers about Asset Finance products at the designated sales point or points.
  • Responding to the client’s request with a prompt, accurate, thorough, and comprehensive product presentation.
  • Pre-evaluating the client’s financial situation and recommending the best possible product configuration.
  • Supporting the client during the whole asset financing process, from the time of the initial inquiry until the asset is released.

  • Processing loan requests correctly and promptly, obtaining required paperwork, and guaranteeing asset release, including asset insurance, tracker installation, and plate issuing.
  • Making sure all paperwork is assembled and sent to the branch so that loan document forms are returned on time to the head office for record-keeping.
  • Observing the Branch Standards.
  • Ensuring the logbooks are picked up from the dealer or dealers.
  • Making certain that the company’s KPI standards are met.

 

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Outstanding presentation and communication abilities, especially in writing.
  • Powerful marketing and sales abilities.
  • Honesty, zeal, and a desire for lifelong learning and growth.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the capacity to collaborate with others in a company with a variety of business processes.
  • High attention to detail and internal control; competent to work with people at all levels both inside and outside the company.
  • Flexible and adaptive to changing priorities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline.
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) proficiency.
