Work Station:
The St Jude’s Girls’ Laboratory Technician for Physics (Diploma or Bachelor of Technology in Laboratory Sciences/Laboratory Technology).

Who are you?
- A highly motivated laboratory technician with exceptional attention to detail who enjoys working with children and can help with practical sessions up to form 4 (NECTA Curriculum).
- You may prepare bench reagents, calibrate test equipment, estimate exam expenses, and maintain inventories.
- You appreciate the necessity of enforcing laboratory safety by conducting thorough due diligence and providing clear guidance to all students and instructional staff who use the laboratory.
- A conscientious and hardworking individual who enjoys mentoring student projects and providing extra assistance to students that require more attention for their lab work.
- A confident using management software to order, budget, and regulate laboratory supplies.
What are we looking for?
- A Tanzanian with a Diploma/Bachelor of Technology in Laboratory Sciences or Laboratory Technology. You must have graduated from an accredited higher learning institution in East Africa with excellent academic records.
- A minimum of four (4) years of experience at Tanzania’s top-performing secondary schools.
- Strong capacity to manage national examination procedures with great integrity and secrecy.
- The excellent written and verbal communication abilities using English as the medium of education.
- A well-rounded, autonomous, and mature individual with extensive knowledge of the NECTA curriculum. You are someone who adheres to laboratory ethics and is professional in your approach and work standards.
- An somebody who can adapt to our school’s different policies and procedures (including working on weekends as needed).
- Being able to prepare physics and chemistry practicals at an advanced level will be advantageous.
- The competent female candidates are highly encouraged to apply.
