The Tanzania Agricultural Development Bank Limited (TADB) is a government development finance agency overseen by the Ministry of Finance and Planning. TADB is incorporated under the Companies Act of 2002 and regulated under the requirements of the Banking and Financial Institutions Act No. 5 of 2006 and the Banking and Financial Institutions (Development Finance) Regulations of 2012. The Bank operates as a Development Finance Institution under Business License No. 002 given by the Bank of Tanzania on August 4, 2015.
TADB was founded to aid the achievement of two broad purposes:
- Advancing sustainable food self-sufficiency and security in Tanzania.
- To facilitate the transition from subsistence to commercial agriculture so that it may contribute to economic growth and poverty reduction in an effective and sustainable manner.
The TADB is looking for a qualified candidate to fill the position of Intern in the Legal Services Unit, where they will give support to the unit.
- To assist in the preparation of contracts and other legal papers.
- To support legal research on specified topics by utilizing legal databases and other resources.
- Help to examine and revise contracts, loan documents, and other legal arrangements.
- To conduct factual investigations and create reports.
- To draft legal correspondence, such as memoranda and letters, under the supervision.
- Help prepare for various meetings.
- To assist in examining statutory registers to assess the legal status of loan applications, securities, and borrowing capacity.
- To assist with the registration and monitoring of loan paperwork, statutory registrations, and pre-disbursement requirements.
- To assist in keeping and arranging legal files and documentation.
- To working with the Legal Officer to ensure that the bank complies with applicable laws and regulations.
- Perform any other duties assigned by superiors from time to time.

- Capability to examine agreed-upon business outcomes and create action strategies to accomplish them.
- The ability to provide and seek constructive feedback.
- The ability to perform jobs within the agreed-upon timeframe for implementation.
- Capable of producing innovative, well-written letters and reports.
THE QUALIFICATION:
- The University Law Graduate.
- The admission as a High Court Advocate or qualification to be admitted as an advocate.
- The successful completion of Law School will be an added benefit.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- The computer capabilities.
