METROCREDIT LIMITED, also known as MetroCredit, is a young business that was established in Tanzania in 2018 under the Companies Act of 2002 with the goal of offering financial services to small and medium-sized business owners. The business is seeking qualified, capable, and self-driven young Tanzanians to apply for the position that is open at its Mwanza office, as described below;
Job: Loan Officer – 5 Posts
Description of Job:
- To locate possible markets and generate sales in order to attract possible clients or lenders.
- To carry out a comprehensive loan evaluation for every client who has expressed interest in borrowing money from MetroCredit.
- Prepare and deliver loan packages and files to the line manager or immediate supervisor.
- Keep track of every loan repayment made by every client to whom MetroCredit has extended credit.
- Follow up on the repayments that were delayed.
- To carry out any additional responsibilities that his or her supervisor may occasionally designate.
Job Qualifications:
- A minimum of a diploma in any relevant discipline, including business, finance, economics, and social sciences.
- Age should not be less than 25 nor greater than 36.
- A minimum of two years’ worth of experience working in a commercial bank or reputable microfinance institution with experience processing loans.
- A solid understanding of banking concepts and practices, including credit analysis, sales and marketing, and public speaking abilities.
