Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA)
The Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA Interview) was founded by Tanzania Revenue Authority Act No. 11 of 1995. The Authority is a semi-autonomous government entity in charge of administering both Central Government taxes and a variety of non-tax earnings. TRA is now undertaking the Sixth Corporate Plan (CP6: 2022/23 – 2026/27), which has the Vision of “A Trusted Revenue Administration for Socioeconomic Development” and the Mission of “We Make It Easy to Pay Tax and Improve Compliance for Sustainable Development.”
The Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) held interviews on March 29th and 30th, 2025. On March 22nd, 2025, the TRA website (www.tra.go.tz) revealed the names of successful candidates. Candidates were also notified by email.
The interviews were conducted in nine regions:
- Dar es Salaam (including Pwani).
- Zanzibar (For Unguja and Pemba).
- Arusha (For Arusha, Manyara, Kilimanjaro, and Tanga).
- Dodoma (for Morogoro, Dodoma, Singida, Iringa and Tabora).
- Mtwara (for Mtwara, Lindi and Ruvuma).
- Mbeya (For Mbeya, Songwe, and Rukwa).
- Mwanza (For Mwanza, Shinyanga, Mara, and Simiyu).
- Kagera (Kagera and Geita).
- Kigoma (For Kigoma and Katavi).
