The Role summary:

The Marketing Officer’s responsibilities will include contributing to the development of marketing strategies by designing and implementing marketing plans for Simusolar Products, conducting market research, identifying areas for improvement in product offerings, sales tactics, marketing strategy, promotional activities, and supporting any marketing efforts with grant and development partners.

The Marketing Officer will be joining an effective organization with opportunities to advance within the company as it expands in Tanzania and worldwide. This position gives exposure to the rapidly expanding asset financing sector.

 

 

Job location: This role is situated in Dar es Salaam, although travel will be required to better understand the business, partners, and market.

The duties and responsibilities:

  • Increasing brand recognition and generating leads while overseeing internal and external marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Developing, implementing, and improving national marketing strategies to maximize our products’ reach and sales.
  • To develop insights into marketing initiatives to analyze performance against aims.
  • To oversee the creation of commercials, promotional materials, and mail campaigns, as well as approving marketing collateral ranging from website banners to hard copy brochures and case studies.
  • Marketing costs can be reduced by reducing responsibilities, leveraging communications materials, monitoring budgets, and implementing protocols.
  • Working with Sales Management to develop best practices, marketing strategies, and media positioning for vertical markets.
  • Managing all ATL and BTL activities in the market.
  • To manage all marketing campaigns on social media.
  • To provide regular updates on the performance of key performance metrics.
  • To develop strategic partnerships with major industry players, agencies, and vendors.
  • To collaborating with other teams, such as sales, hardware, and customer service.
  • Meeting with clients on a regular basis to ensure their pleasure.

 

 

The Minimum requirements:

  • Three (3) years of experience in equipment sales, fast-moving consumer goods, telecommunications, insurance, financial services, or related areas.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a comparable profession.
  • To manage a portfolio of corporate customers.
  • I worked in major account management and sales.
  • A solid understanding of market research approaches.
  • A thorough understanding of social media and online analytics.

 

 

The Prerequisites:

  • The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • The good organizational and planning skills.
  • The excellent interpersonal skills.
  • A good presentation and negotiation skills.
  • A fluent in both Kiswahili and English.
  • A computer literacy with Microsoft Office products.
