Description of the Job:

Job Purpose:

To recruit new Enterprise clients on behalf of the company, primarily from a target pool of national in-country customers who operate nationally (in-country), regionally (Pan-Africa), and globally.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue sales prospects from various sources, including meetings, clients, sales channels, and vendors.
  • Assist the assigned global or regional account manager with their global acquisition strategy and utilize global transactions to win locally. Sign off on a local account plan that aligns with the global plan.
  • Ensures that all contracted income streams from won opportunities are accounted for in all relevant accounts.
  • Maintains an assigned pipeline product and country mix that reflects the business’s strategic goals in line with established objectives.
  • Delivers an agreed-upon minimum incremental total contract value (TCV) of business each year.
  • Maintain the company’s sales system with all necessary data on a timely basis.

The required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Experience in the enterprise company is highly preferred.
  • University degree with at least three years of successful solution sales experience in a technology organization.
  • Understanding of essential financial measures, such as ROI, and the ability to use them as effective selling tools.
  • Experience identifying up-selling possibilities to expand product penetration with customers.
  • Capable of managing the entire opportunity lifecycle, including identification, proposal generation, and implementation.
  • Capability to bring new innovative concepts to key decision makers inside the customer organization via relationship and stakeholder management at the CxO level.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Ability to comprehend and apply internal process management tools.
  • Awareness of the telecom and ICT industries, as well as their impact on customer organizations.
  • Capability to properly prioritize and carry out activities in a high-demanding setting.
  • Excellent mastery of both spoken and written English and Kiswahili.
