We’re looking for an analytical and solutions-oriented Operations Specialist to manage supply for our ride-hailing operations in Dar es Salaam.

This function has a direct and practical impact on local operations, notably contributing to business growth by meeting supply milestones and important metrics.

The Primary tasks and responsibilities:
- To manage and supporting operations initiatives by developing precise local operational processes that prioritize excellent operational execution and results while keeping our stakeholders in mind.
- To develop strategies to strengthen and expand our market position.
- The Rider experience management entails working autonomously and taking initiative to guarantee that our riders have the greatest possible experience while also giving the best value proposition.
- To analyze data entails monitoring operational parameters to maintain marketplace health and taking action on insights.
- To identify trends, hazards, and chances for improvement at the local level that may affect the organization.
- To advise and working directly with HQ teams such as Product, Legal, and Marketing to create and implement critical initiatives that drive growth and efficiency.
About You:
- You have prior expertise in operations, startups, strategy consulting, or other related disciplines.
- You are an effective collaborator with great negotiation and communication abilities in English and Swahili.
- You are extremely analytical and data-driven, with strong Excel/Google Sheets skills.
- You possess a strong feeling of ownership and a hands-on approach.
- You are highly motivated to tackle challenges creatively and efficiently.
- You have experience with product launches or running a business.
