Job Title: Procurement Officer

The Power Providers is looking for a proactive, detail-oriented, and experienced Procurement Officer to oversee and coordinate our procurement and store operations for six (6) months. The selected candidate will be in charge of monitoring procurement, inventory control, supplier coordination, asset management, and logistical support to ensure that the project runs well.

 

The key responsibilities:

  • To maintain the store’s organization and cleanliness, including proper shelf/rack usage and accurate stock location.
  • To ensure that procurement operations match company standards and client supply needs by providing high-quality products.
  • Check invoices against LPOs to ensure goods fulfill Power Providers’ quality and quantity requirements.
  • To coordinate with Accounts to ensure smooth cash flow and supplier payments.
  • The stock management activities include tracking, reconciliation, and inventory control.
  • Create monthly stock movement and valuation reports.
  • To lead the annual stocktake and reconciliation.
  • Create procurement lists based on project requirements and input.
  • To manage importation processes such as documentation, compliance, and freight tracking.
  • To monitor warehouse safety, daily reports, and project-specific inventory usage.
  • To manage dispatch, ensuring proper documentation and delivery confirmations.
  • Keep an asset monitoring registry for all organizational assets.
  • Create procurement methods that limit cash purchases while maximizing quality and efficiency.
  • To avoid double-selling by keeping track of pre-sold items.
  • Create and maintain a computerized retail management system with SKU codes.
