The Key purpose:

The Regulatory Compliance Manager will be in charge of managing the company’s regulatory compliance program and ensuring adherence to industry rules, regulations, and license responsibilities. This role entails establishing a compliance culture that promotes sensible risk management and matches with the organization’s goal to connecting, delivering, and innovating.

 

 

The main responsibilities:

  • To ensure compliance with telecommunications sector rules, regulations, and license requirements.
  • To monitor organizational processes to ensure compliance and promote a strong compliance culture.
  • Create, implement, and maintain strong data protection policies and processes, including adherence to Group-wide policies.
  • To conduct regulatory risk management by identifying potential noncompliance areas and managing risks to avoid fines or penalties.
  • Evaluate and connect operational procedures with legal and regulatory obligations.

 

The Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in law, risk and compliance management, or a comparable subject.
  • A certification in data protection or privacy law is an extra benefit.
  • A minimum of five years’ experience in regulatory compliance, with a focus on data protection.
  • A thorough awareness of telecommunications legislation and the overall business environment.
  • A strong understanding of telecommunications and data protection rules and regulations.
  • A familiarity with data processing and information systems.
