Job Title: Relationship Manager – Assistant Vice President

In line with the overall Bank strategy, customer value proposition, agreed targets, policies, procedures, and regulatory and risk frameworks, the Relationship Manager is an intermediate-level position that assists in developing and implementing strategies for growth and retention of Top Tier Local Corporates and Public Sector clients. This role’s overarching goal is to serve as a strategic advisor to our clients by developing investment plans and obtaining funding on their behalf.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a portfolio of accounts with a range of intricate financial requirements in order to increase revenue and maintain acceptable credit quality while adhering to Citi’s credit standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Determine the needs of the consumer and suggest ways to meet those needs, such as finance, cash management operations simplification, foreign exchange solutions, etc.
  • Cross-selling banking goods, such as capital market products, foreign exchange, commodities, fixed income, cash management, trade financing, trade services, and structured trade products.
  • In charge of overseeing all part of the relationship related to credit, such as yearly reviews, early problem detection, and remedial management.
  • When making business decisions, appropriately assess risk, showing special attention to the firm’s reputation and protecting Citi, its clients, and its assets. This can be done by enforcing Policy, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, using good judgment when making decisions about one’s own conduct, behavior, and business practices, and transparently escalating, managing, and reporting control issues.

 

Qualifications:

  • 5 to 8 years of relevant, progressive experience in lending or credit, or a comparable level of product experience.
  • Shown credit abilities, including a solid foundation in credit evaluation and analysis.
  • Preferred background includes experience with capital markets goods, securities products, trade, financing, credit, cash management, and major corporate clients.
  • Thorough understanding of the lending and credit approval procedure, relevant legislation, and associated products in the corporate banking industry.
  • Show that you can communicate both verbally and in writing in a clear and succinct manner.
  • Demonstrated ability in organizing, planning, negotiating, and analysis.

 

Education:

  • A bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Preferably, you have an MBA or a master’s degree in a comparable discipline.
