Job Title: Relationship Manager

Answers to (reports to): Head of SME

Job location: Dar es Salaam

Job Summary:

Achieve financial and operational benchmarks set by the bank at the branch level.

 

The key responsibilities:

Business Performance:

  • Sales, revenue, deposits, risk assets, targets, and efficiency ratios were all delivered.
  • Prepare and deliver approved branch budgets.
  • Responsible for managing branch costs, including direct and indirect expenses. Achieve a cost-to-income ratio in branch.

 

Relationship Management and Customer Service:

  • Meet customer service requirements, increase client happiness, retain high-performing clients, and expand market share.

 

People Management & Teamwork:

  • Create a high-performing team through effective performance development and coaching to increase productivity and efficiency.

 

Process, Control, and Operational Performance:

  • Ensure compliance with operational risks.
  • To comply with branch layout guidelines, KYC, operational, and risk policies and procedures.

 

Strategic initiatives:

  • Expanding the allowed market reach.

 

The Qualification and Experience:

  • Education: A bachelor’s or master’s degree in banking or business administration, economics, finance, or a similar discipline.
  • Professional Experience: A minimum of 5 years’ experience in relationship management and branch operations.
