The Economic and Social Research Foundation (ESRF) is an independent policy research organization headquartered in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. ESRF was founded in 1994 to meet the rising demand for a research think tank with a mandate to conduct policy analysis and capacity building. For additional information on ESRF, please see about-us.

We are now looking for qualified, self-motivated, and dynamic candidates for consultation services as Research Associates and Enumerators.

 

 

The Required Qualifications and Experience for Research Associates:

  • A holder of a PhD in Economics, Agriculture Economics, Sociology, Social Science, or any other comparable area with at least 5 years of experience conducting research in policy studies.
  • The applicant should have completed 10 units of publication/consultancy reports, at least two of which should have been published in a recognized scholarly forum.
  • A holder of a Masters degree in Economics or any other subject in the Social Sciences, with at least ten years of experience conducting policy research.
  • The applicant should have at least two units of publications/consultancy reports, at least two of which should have been published in a reputable scholarly journal.

 

The Required Qualifications and Experience for Enumerator:

  • Holds a bachelor’s degree in any field.
  • An applicant should be fluent in Swahili and English, have extensive understanding of computer software, and be skilled in both qualitative and quantitative data collection techniques.

 

 

The Deadline:

All the applications should be sent to the Foundation on or before May 23, 2025.

The qualified candidates will be added to a reserve list and contacted if a suitable opportunity becomes available.
