About the role:
Are you passionate about customer service, aviation, or travel? Regional Air is looking for a Reservations Agent to join our team and give exceptional service to our customers. You will be in charge of bookings, issuing tickets, addressing customer inquiries, and ensuring that our passengers have a seamless reservation experience.
The key responsibilities:
- Manage telephone ticket sales and reservations.
- To assist walk-in guests with reservations and tickets.
- To provide flight itineraries and status updates for any timing adjustments.
- Make sure that the booking details are correct, including passenger names, dates, and special requests.
- To process flight manifests and communicate with operations regarding any last-minute changes.
- To manage email correspondence for reservations and consumer inquiries.
- Inform customers about fares, specials, accommodations, and cross-border travel documents.
- Process cash transactions, charge for parcels, extra baggage, and other services.
What We Are Looking For:
- Education: A degree in travel and tourism, hospitality management, business administration, or a similar subject.
- Experience: 1–2 years in airline reservations, travel, or hospitality.
- Technical Skills: Expertise in airline reservation systems (Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo) and Microsoft Office.
- Customer Service requires excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to Detail: Data entry and reservation management are both highly accurate.
- Flexibility: A willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
