THE EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES:

An Introduction:

The Jumla Africa is the sole dealer of Cobley tractors and implements in Tanzania. Cobley is a leading tractor brand that has been specifically created for Africa farms. Cobley tractors have the most extensive distribution network in Tanzania; tractors can be acquired from any of Jumla Africa’s 15 distribution centers.

Be responsible for selling various agricultural machinery. Responsible for establishing a book of business and locating corporations, individuals, or agencies to purchase agricultural equipment or services.

 

 

The key Responsibilities:

  • To represents the company’s sale of machinery to clients within established sales territories.
  • Keeps updated product knowledge regarding the characteristics and benefits of all equipment that Jumla Africa may sell.
  • To set and endeavor to meet sales targets. Create sales strategies, action plans, and methods to achieve or surpass sales targets.
  • Examines existing items and recommends upgrades or replacements.
  • To maintain all customer information within the assigned territory for sales management.
  • Develop and sustain good customer connections. Understand their needs, provide product information, and address inquiries or concerns promptly.
  • To maintain updated knowledge of financing options to assist consumers in securing the purchase of products.
  • Stay informed on market developments, client needs, and rival activities. Gather market intelligence, track industry trends, and provide comments to management.
  • Deliver exceptional client service and support throughout the sales process.
  • Address customer inquiries, fix problems, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

 

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A bachelor’s degree or higher in mechanical/agricultural engineering/agribusiness or sales and marketing of agricultural equipment is required.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of sales experience, ideally in agricultural equipment machinery.
  • To Demonstrate credibility and effectiveness in communicating, presenting, and influencing at all levels of the company.
  • A proven ability to manage the sales process from start to finish.
  • The excellent mentoring, coaching, and people-management skills.
  • A strong commercial sense, industry experience, and the capacity to generate new sales.
