The Comprehensive Comprehensive Community Based Rehabilitation in Tanzania (CCBRT) seeks to be Africa’s top provider of accessible specialist health services while also serving the community and the most vulnerable through healthcare social entrepreneurship and development projects. CCBRT is committed to preventing lifelong disabilities wherever possible, and it also conducts substantial maternal and newborn healthcare (MNHC) initiatives, such as obstetric fistula repairs. The Maternity and Newborn Wing is a referral center for high-risk and emergency deliveries in Dar es Salaam and Tanzania’s Eastern Zone.

We are seeking an experienced Sales Officer to expand the scope of our optical sales services.

 

 

Role of the job:

Receiving customers with respect and communicating politely with them, assisting customers in selecting frames and dispensing the right spectacle for the right person, explaining different types of frames and lenses available, informing customers when their spectacles are ready or the reason for the delay, and providing proper guidance to customers with any questions.

Furthermore, you will handle client complaints about glasses and provide appropriate help, maintain showroom inventory, and count stock based on sales. Prepare a sales report and claim papers for financing.

 

The candidates:

  • A diploma or degree in commerce, business administration, or a comparable field.
  • A minimum of two years of work experience.
  • A computer literate.
  • Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • The ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Flexible.
  • The ability to multitask.
  • A team player.
  • Pro-active.
