What You will Do:
- Make sure that the administration office runs well so that teachers and administrators may carry out their jobs properly and professionally.
- To maintain an appropriate supply of office supplies and stationery at all times.
- To ensure that all office machinery are in good working order, and that extra ink and paper are always accessible;
- Report any problems to your supervisor.
- To oversee the printing process to ensure that exam papers are delivered to teachers on time, in good quality, and in sufficient quantities.
- To fulfill the office’s purchasing requirements and deliver stationery to students and employees.
- To receive visitors and direct them to the proper offices.
- Create and distribute monthly stationery usage reports for both staff and students, including photocopies, exercise books, pencils, gate pass records, and printing.
- Make daily updates of staff and student attendance in the Admin folder, email, and iSAMs.
- To oversee the timely filing and archiving of students’ documentation in accordance with the approved checklist forms.
- To participate in scholarship application days.
- To assist the academic office in organizing paperwork required for school events such as award certificates, etc.
- To assist the head of school with secondary board meeting logistics to ensure that the meeting runs smoothly.
- On a daily basis, check for precise measurements of students’ food to verify protocols are followed.
- To draft new procedures or review existing ones to ensure they are relevant and up to date.
What we are looking for.
- A minimum diploma in office administration or a similar discipline from a licensed and approved college in East Africa.
- The previous administrative experience, preferably in an educational setting, of at least three years.
