Work summary:

A Senior Auditor is needed to oversee our auditing procedure. His or her work will be critical in making sure that our financial controls and procedures follow quality assurance guidelines and are error-free.

The Senior Auditor needs to have extensive understanding of auditing procedures and be analytical and meticulous. We anticipate that he or she will be dependable, possess excellent organizational abilities, and be knowledgeable about risk management and compliance.

As a Senior Auditor, he or she will assist our clients in resolving their intricate business problems from strategy to execution by working with a group of problem solvers with substantial consulting and industry experience.

 

Job Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Organize and manage the auditing procedure.
  • Assign tasks to the assistant auditors.
  • Check the correctness and compliance of team members’ work, and make sure the Firm’s CASEWARE Audit Tool has a thorough record of the whole audit process.
  • Carry out efficient risk and control analyses.
  • Finalize audits on schedule and send in reports for partners and audit managers to evaluate.
  • Outline the results of the audit and suggest measures to improve efficiency and compliance.
  • Arrange for recurring audits.
  • Actively support the administration of several clients while answering to Engagement Managers and higher.
  • Establishing and preserving solid client connections.
  • Help with the technical evaluation of the financial statements generated by the customer to ensure compliance with IFRS and IPSAS standards.
  • Write deliverables that are succinct and well-written, utilizing suitable business and technical language.
  • Mentoring and growth of the team members who directly report to you by taking ownership of their professional development.
  • Takes part in the economics, administration, and planning of projects; this includes time analysis, staffing, billing, and budgeting.
  • Participate actively in business development initiatives to find new and existing customer prospects.
  • Stay informed about business, economic, national, and local problems.

 

Experience and Qualifications:

  • BCom/BSc/BA in finance, accounting, or a similar discipline.
  • Professional certification that is pertinent (CPA/ACCA).
  • A minimum of three years’ experience in the field of external audits; knowledge of external audits of public bodies is advantageous.
