The Job responsibilities:
Position: Shipping Line Officer (01)
Education: Ordinary diploma/certificate in logistics or a comparable discipline.
Experience: 2 to 3 years in transportation.
The Skills/Ability:
- The ability to use the Microsoft Office program.
- Able to manage all shipping line documentation.
- The ability to handle container deposits and returns from the shipping line.
- Must be able to apply delivery orders.
The Responsibilities:
- Apply for a delivery order for transporting items.
- To follow up on any container deposit refunds.
- Make follow up on all inward interchanges.
- To communicate with shipping lines on behalf of clients about transit cargo.
- To arrange for telex release to the declaration officer.
- To make sure that container demurrage is paid.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Education: Minimum Diploma; Maximum Not Limited.
- Experience: Not less than two years.
