The Job Purpose:

To accomplish critical business goals, create, test, and execute well-designed new business applications in-house, as well as alter or upgrade current business software.

 

 

The Principal Responsibilities:

  • Develop and test program modules that meet design standards.
  • To integrate technical and application components to satisfy business needs.
  • To maintain, tune, and repair applications to ensure they continue to meet technical and functional criteria.
  • To identify configuration adjustments to apps to ensure that they meet business process requirements.
  • To read, understand, and effectively incorporate application specifications into database design.
  • Develop/ create well-designed and reusable items.
  • Create and implement testing plans and procedures based on system requirements.
  • To participate in the whole software development lifecycle, with a focus on coding and debugging.
  • Use proven bank frameworks and software quality tools to create high-quality software.
  • Create high-quality, reusable programs and libraries that follow the bank system design principles.
  • Troubleshooting and debugging programs.
  • To comply with all necessary rules, quality controls, processes, and application architecture principles by implementing all stated software best practices and frameworks that are compatible with and supportive of the enterprise application strategy.
  • To provide users and systems with post-installation assistance.

 

 

The Qualifications Required:

  • A bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, or a similar field from a reputable university.
  • The Agile/Scrum/DevOp qualifications provide an added edge.
  • A minimum of three (3) years’ established experience in the software development sector.
