The Job summary:
The FELIXSTOWE ACADEMY is seeking a Montessori and EYFS teacher.
Job Responsibilities:
- To observe, leading, monitoring, and assessing students while they study in the classroom.
- Creating lesson plans, independent learning tasks, curricula, and approaches that are tailored to the needs of each kid.
- Preparing and maintaining a safe, clean, and interesting classroom environment in which all students feel comfortable and respected.
- Developing rapport and relationships with students based on trust.
- To set a good example for students and establishing positive values such as honesty, accountability, understanding, tolerance, respect, love, and kindness.
- To monitor and assessing students’ progress, as well as writing reports.
- Ensure that classroom supplies and equipment are available and in working order.
- Updating information in the school database and doing numerous administrative activities.
- To participate in school events and accompany children on field trips.
Montessori Teacher Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in early childhood teaching, education, or a similar field is recommended.
- To completed my training at an approved Montessori Center.
- Other (additional) courses or training in education would be beneficial.
- I’m passionate about alternative schooling.
- The patience and exceptional observation, communication, and diagnostic abilities.
- The capability to multitask, remain composed under pressure, and treat everyone with love and respect.
- The excellent planning and organization skills.
- A lifelong learner who can be a positive role model for children.
