The Selection of Form ONE | Waliochaguliwa kujiunga na Kidato cha kwanza 2025

TAMISEMI

Through the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology (TAMISEMI), the Tanzanian government assigns primary school leavers to secondary schools through the Tamisemi Form One Selection procedure.

The pupils’ performance on the Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE) serves as the basis for this selection process. Taking into consideration variables including school capacity, regional location, and student performance, the system seeks to equitably allocate students across different secondary schools.

You normally need to enter the student’s exam number and other necessary details on the TAMISEMI website or another portal in order to view the Form One selection results. The chosen school, if any, will then be shown by the system.

The 2025 Form One Selection is now officially available:

The Ministry of State in the President’s Office for Regional Administration and Local Government (TAMISEMI) has released the results of the Form One selection for the 2024–2025 school year. The selection procedure was finished on December 16, 2024, and 974,332 pupils who finished primary school in 2024 have been assigned to secondary schools.

The TAMISEMI website allows you to view the selection results:
