The Job Purpose:
The role’s purpose is to be held accountable for providing professional, accurate, and timely support to branches’ business growth in areas such as new customer onboarding and digital platform expansion by ensuring productivity standards are met or exceeded by fully supporting branch sales activities. The function is also in charge of Zone market analysis, including both product lines and the overall profitability of Zone business branches. In addition, Zone business support is in charge of designing and monitoring data quality measures, as well as ensuring that business data and reporting requirements are met on time. Develop, assess, and communicate Zone performance and opportunities for improvement.
The ultimate goal is to provide support for Zone and branch-based sales activities, as well as financial analysis and performance monitoring. Zonal Business Support should also spearhead new initiatives in budget and financial planning.
The Principal Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for evaluating branch performance using data analysis against Zone sales targets and annual budget.
- To present a data review to Zone managers and other Zone leaders, clearly demonstrating performance and identifying areas for improvement.
- Take responsibility for business forecasting and budget analysis, including preparing proposed Zone and branch budgets, actively defending the budget, and accepting constructive feedback.
- Help branches build their Digital Channels (Internet Banking, Sim Banking, Credit Cards, and Debit Cards) accurately and efficiently in order to accomplish their goals.
- To collaborate closely with the Value Chain Unit to maximize Zone business using the Value Chain Model.
- Create forums, meetings, campaigns, and roadshows across the Zone to cross-sell various bank products and their benefits to both customers and non-customers.
- To support Zone’s new customer onboarding process (accounts) across all platforms, ensuring their active status.
- Ensure that branches are onboarding clients with correct segmentation to maximize NFI from account monthly fees and withdrawal charges.
- To prioritize and organize all assignments from Head office units that do not have relationship managers based in the zonal office, and ensure they receive adequate support.
- To assist in training new and/or temporary employees on bank products and services to guarantee knowledge transfer and uniformity in processing.
- To identify internal and market constraints that impact Wallet share growth and offer improvements to enhance continuous improvement, cost containment, and client satisfaction.
- Carry out/ perform any other duties assigned by the Zone Manager.

The Qualifications Required:
- A degree in business or similar.
- Any training on business analytics and data management will be beneficial.
- Good understanding of business performance metrics.
- A minimum of three years’ experience in branch operations.
