The role’s mission is:
You would have direct accountability to the Cluster General Manager of Arusha & Zanzibar for the following duties:
- The hotel’s operations include scheduling, organizing, managing, overseeing, and analyzing the output from each department.
- Lead and motivate hotel teams to consistently evaluate and uphold high standards of service, quality, and productivity in their workflow.
- Assure the seamless execution of Meliá Hotels International’s policies and procedures in accordance with the strategic plans.
What are we trying to find?
- Two to three years’ minimum of experience in resident management or related roles.
- Experience working in premium or five-star hotels.
- Possess the ability to lead operations and guest focus.
- Knowledge of hotel operations from all angles.
- A university degree or diploma, ideally in tourism (or a related field such as hospitality and tourism studies).
- It is preferred to have international experience.
- Functional understanding of every department’s activities.
- A background in F&B is preferred.
- A drive for perfection and meticulousness.
- Warm and lively individual.
- Show off your talent development and HR management skills.
- Familiarity with the IT tools utilized by hotel managers.
- High degree of regional adaptability is ideal.
- It is required to speak English.
- Able to live in Tanzania’s Arusha.
